About us

Telia is on a journey towards becoming the New Generation Telco. In the Digital Channels department, this means continuously working towards more efficient IT- solutions, building in-house competence, continue our ongoing DevOps journey as well as challenging our way of working.

I am Erik Björk and I am heading the Digital Channels Department together with my management team and I am now looking for a strong Solution Architect with FE focus to support our development teams Halebop, Context and Mobile Apps in Stockholm.

Your next challenge?

As a Solution Architect you will be apart of a team consisting of 8 architects working in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Vilnius to help our development teams. This role mainly focuses on supporting our Stockholm-based teams Context and Halebop where you will focus on providing solution designs and strategies in frontend architecture for our websites. You will also work with different projects and initiatives from our stakeholders as well as take part in meetings where you will discuss and present ideas to improve our frontend architecture. We are currently focusing on transforming our different webportals to a Headless architecture.

Since you are going to be working closely together with two different development teams as well as the teams of architects you need to have good communication skills and you need to be a true team player. We also think that you are driven, solution oriented and someone who is not afraid to initiate new solutions or initiatives that can benefit out unit and help us reach our goals. 

The main responsibilities will be:

• Support our Delivery teams making sure that solutions are scalable, maintainable and architecturally sound.
• Drive roadmap work for the domains that you support
• Drive your area according to modern, agile and devops software development practices and help creating good engineering practices
• Co-operate with other technology areas on global deliveries

Your experience:

• An academic degree preferably in computer science or similar.
• Experience in Frontend Development (Javascript, HTML and CSS)
• Experience in modern frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue (preferably)
• Experience from working with agile methods.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
