Level Designer of educational games

About the Job

As a Level Designer in a small and friendly team at Blue Mable AB, you are responsible to create content and level design. You will be working in a team that is responsible for the creation of the game from the concept to a finished game, optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.

Our main activity domain is to develop educational games for children to develop skills in mathematics , science and other areas. Thus, you will be mainly working on the game's abstract level in terms of content selection and lesson design with a multicultural perspective. As a part of a small team, digital graphics design experience is a valuable skill.

We believe that working closely in a small team is important in creating the best games and it helps us to take faster and better decisions in an agile way.

We use Unity3D as the game engine as well as many other tools such as Adobe Photoshop, ToonBoom studio, FL studio, etc. We work in an ambitious, casual, and fun atmosphere where we put a lot of effort in the games we create.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-2 years of prior experience of teaching and pedagogic skills.
• You have experience from working with graphically performance-heavy web applications and games.
• You are familiar with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jquery or similar tools.
• Interest in computer graphics programming, animations and effects
• Experience with client-server integrations
• The ability to deliver in an agile, iteractive environment where pace is high and all voices matter
• Professional experience working with C# and Unity
