C++ Software Developer with team leader experience to R&D

The industry is going through its biggest transformation for decades with Industry 4.0. We are looking for a Software Developer who will work with an advanced controller unit for electrical tightening tools. Our customers use these products in their assembly lines worldwide.

You will be member of a team, which is managing various type of job tasks coming in from stakeholders in our organization such as marketing, sales, quality as well as other departments within the R&D organization. This is an excellent opportunity if you like to work in an agile team with a problem-solving mindset and strong customer focus.

The R&D department consists of about 300 people and offers great possibilities to grow in different directions within the business area. Fun fact: Every third car in the world is being assembled by our assembly tools.

Some of your tasks;

• Create new software releases for our customers in C++
• Analyze customer reports from the field and create solutions
• Implement improvements in the software and verify them directly in the system
• Lead a team of 10 experienced SW developers
• Work in close cooperation with the platform development project
• Plan the builds and test activities in different tracks together with the Technical Product Owner
• Follow up the changes and enhancements in the development Environment

About you

You hold a technical university degree or a Master of Science in Engineering with specialization in data or similar. You have experience in embedded system development, programming in C++ and from working in a Linux environment. We are looking for a team leader and want you to have experience from a leading role. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
