Job description

Responsibilities
We think that you probably have 6-7 years of experience from working in a similarly complex engineering environment.
What you'll do:
- Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team
- Collaborate directly with engineers and stakeholders outside of your team
- Build and iterate on Java services.
- Work together with representatives from product, design, and business to define the future for the users
- Build and refactor existing Backend services and data pipelines
Qualifications
You enjoy working closely with other teams and see limitations as an exciting challenge
You have great communication skills
You have good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and understand how to apply them to design pragmatic solutions
You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high quality code
You know how to write distributed, high-volume services in Java
You are experienced with deploying and operating services on Linux
You have experience in driving technical projects from beginning to end
Experience in working with Scala and data processing frameworks like Spark, Scio, Crunch etc. is a huge plus
