Quinyx is the market leader in Cloud Workforce Management. We are a fast-growing tech company that enables customers to schedule, report time and dynamically forecast optimal labor costs against sales while maintaining a smiling workforce.

We are looking for an experienced QA engineer with a strong technical background to join our fantastic team to build the next generation of the Quinyx WFM solution.

We are currently on a journey to transition from our classic platform built on PHP and Flash to a new platform built on Java and JavaScript, React.JS, HTML5.

Your role at Quinyx!

At Quinyx, you will collaborate with the QA Engineers and Development team to develop effective test plans, execute pre-release test cases, help troubleshoot issues, report defects and errors to the appropriate teams and track them to closure. You will also be conducting exploratory testing throughout our applications.

In addition, you will be working across multiple agile distributed teams with highly competent, versatile and diverse colleagues. The teams enjoy an autonomous way of working and continuously strive to improve its own processes, tooling options and skills.

Your responsibilities

- Perform Impact Analysis and design test cases based on Risk-Based approach
- Execute test cases both functional and non-functional fulfilling business requirements
- Document with detailed information and analyze the test results
- Log defects and logically track or follow up with developers until fixed and closed
- Collaborate with QA Engineers, developers and cross-functional team to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality throughout the software development and quality assurance
- Participate in daily stand-ups, planning and other relevant agile meetings
- Track and maintain Quality KPIs
- Take part and contribute to various QA activities within the organization

We need you to have

- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
- Experienced in Agile Methodology
- Experienced in Test Management tools eg: Jira, TestRail
- Knowledge in API Testing
- Knowledge of Tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN etc.
- Excellent Team player and individual contributor
- Strong written & verbal communication skills in English
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

You do this by understanding our users’ needs, use a test-driven approach and share knowledge with your team members.
