Technical Product Manager

In our journey to be an even more successful consumer driven company we are now looking for a self-directed and experienced Technical Product Manager to build consumer facing solutions using cloud computing platforms and open-source frameworks.

What you will do:

In this role, you will manage a team of software developers and engineers leading the cloud adoption journey helping us take the leap to the next level. You will also lead the transition of our IT consumer landscape from being a largely monolithic and SaaS based architecture into a micro-service architecture.

The Technical Product Team builds solutions such as microservices that power all our consumer channels across Europe. You will manage the portfolio of services, own the development of new services/ solutions and as a product manager define the technical product roadmap anticipating the needs of the different consumer channel teams.

To be successful you have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a software engineer or as a solutions architect

• Proven cloud experience (anyone - AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), preferably MS Azure services

• Experience in developing and deploying Microservices

• Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining software build / test / release pipelines (Jenkins or Azure DevOps)

• Strong foundation in RESTful APIs, data structures, algorithms, software design and security

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or any other cloud deployment technologies

• Experience in nodejs developing microservices in distributed systems, cloud native (docker and kubernetes), Microservices and Event driven architectures

• Experience with serverless applications (knative, azure functions and AWS lambdas)

• Familiar with adopting open source projects like kyma (SAP) or Dapr (Microsoft)

• Familiar with AI/ ML platforms and integrations with CRM

• Familiar with SpringBoot, Docker, Spring Cloud, Spring Source and other Spring components

Who you are:

• You have 5+ years of professional experience working in a product-driven environment, out of which 3+ years as a software engineer

• You are familiar with the industry trends and keep up with the latest product offerings in the cloud computing space

• You care about agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability and responsible experimentation at an Enterprise scale

• You have experience mentoring and growing teams

• You have previous experience working in a distributed landscape made of SaaS, On-Prem, PaaS solutions

• You have strong people skills and interest for growing as a technical leader

• You have a deep understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms

• You have the ability to drive change, support decision making and influence teams

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Great attention to detail, Organizational skills and analytical mind

Who you will work with:

• You will be part of the IT consumer and customer solutions organization

• You will be part of the consumer experience architecture board working alongside our Enterprise Consumer Journey Architect

• You will work with various product owners and IT Business Analysts

• You will manage your team of internal and external developers/ engineers

• You will work closely with our global cloud office and global data science platform team
