Your role
As Technical Lead you will take responsibility for the technical implementations of our customized software offerings "Customized Solutions”. The main goal of this role is to provide a technical foundation for solutions to customers business problems/challenges and incorporating the existing product portfolio in the solutions. We are currently working with JavaScript and Node.js but would like you to take a part in the strategic choices of our technologies. You will also:
- Identify competence, resource needs and estimate project scope
- Work closely with the whole SW development team to align development methodology, architectural and technical best practice
- Design and develop applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests
- Act as mentor, in terms of development methodologies and technical aspect, for other team members
- Support CTO in strategic technical issues
Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have several years of experience from development of web services, backend as well as frontend. You have a M Sc or similar in Computer Science and have probably been working with JavaScript, backend languages and databases for some time. Since we are modernizing our software solutions it would be great if you understand the advantages and disadvantages of different techniques and how to build architecture in the best way. - Have good leadership and communicational skills
- Can express yourself clearly and comfortably in English (Swedish is a bonus).
