PS Partner is working together with an exciting company in the car industry, which is looking for an experienced software development engineer to work with the development of modern functional software for electrohydraulic/electric steering systems in environments of up to Highly Autonomous Driving Systems (HAD). The role entails developing a functional software under consideration of current standards, e.g AUTOSAR, ASPICE and ISO 26262, developing and applying the motor control functions, integrating the software on HIL test benches up to commissioning in the vehicle, as well as ensuring the required software quality by applying modern quality methods and analysis tools such as ISTQB. It is important that a potential candidate has:

• At least a Bachelor of Science in relevant engineering discipline(s) or other related equivalents
• Interest in vehicle-, steering- and driver assistance systems
• Very good knowledge of vehicle dynamics and control technology
• At least 3 years on the job experience as an engineer in the automotive sector
• Very good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
• Good knowledge of Coding Language C/C++ desirable
• Experience/knowledge of current standards, such as AUTOSAR, ASPICE and ISO 26262
• Several years of experience in software development of embedded systems
• Understanding of the modern software development process from requirements management to integration testing
• Strong target orientation and structured target tracking
• Networking competencies, including familiarity with building up and strengthening customer relationships
• Fluent business English
• Optional Swedish
• Willingness to travel for business
