Your role

As a Test Engineer at Icomera you are a part of a scrum team and perform hands-on testing of hardware and/or software products in the development process to find defects in design and implementation of embedded systems. It is important that you prefer practical lab work over desk work.

You will participate in the design process to ensure testability and in risk assessments of defects and proposed design changes. Read and write test specifications and test reports will be part of your role together with reading requirements and design specifications. Troubleshoot products, lab maintenance and exploratory testing is also part of the role.

We believe you:

?Have a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably involving maths and/or physics.
?Have at least 2 years' experience working primarily with testing in a professional setting.
?Have experience of developing/maintaining automated tests
?Are honest and straight forward, with a critical thinking, which makes you an active participant of every issue and idea you are faced with
?Have an interest and passion for Linux platform and testing
?Have excellent skills, reading and writing cogent technical documentation together with familiarity of working with GNU+Linux and embedded systems
?Are comfortable working in an agile environment and working in scrum teams
?Are comfortable developing in primarily Bash, Python and C/C++
?Are fluent in English and if you also speak Swedish it’s highly desirable.
