Your responsibilities:

As a Blockchain Developer at Nasdaq you will be a central part in developing the future of Distributed Ledger Technology systems. You will join the Blockchain development team that is responsible for delivering highly innovative Blockchain based solutions. In this role you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders globally. You will be working with both established products and innovative pilot projects.This position is an exciting opportunity to develop your personal, technical, and leadership skills while gaining an extensive knowledge of the exchange industry in general and the Blockchain domain in particular.

Develop full-stack solutions for problems of various magnitudes

Write good unit tests first before writing implementation,

Write highly scalable reactive microservices

Write clear and documented code that delivers real business value

Collaborate in the team identifying optimal solutions

Use deep technical knowledge to design, code, test and/or customize software solutions to meet or exceed client requirements, adding market/industry trends as necessary

What we expect from you:

A degree in Computer Science, Business/Finance or related discipline

Some years of work experience in software development

Advanced knowledge of Java 8, J2EE, Spring, Springboot, REST, Docker

Experience of developing Web Apps using e.g React, NodeJS,

Abilities to engage and collaborate closely with external clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

A strong inner drive and motivation, thriving in a high pace environment

Functional/reactive programming

To be familiar with Event-driven architecture, Domain Driven Design, Messaging Queues

Embrace the value of SCRUM practices and have a passion for well tested and clean code

It would be great if you have experience from:

Distributed Ledger Technologies such as Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Ethereum

Cloud deployment working with platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud

Experience from the financial industry will be considered meriting
