Data & Analytics Information Manager

Right now, we are looking for an Information Manager to Data & Analytics, to drive our journey towards a truly data driven organization.

I am Mathias Olofsson and I am leading the Data Services team for Sweden within Data and Analytics in Telia Company. We are a great bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of our team, but also very excited to extend the team with new skilled people to ensure higher delivery throughput, future target architecture and DevOps way of working!

If you seek for a role to play an important part of Telia Company´s data driven journey and want to work in an ever-changing environment within the Data & Analytics IT domain you are perfect for this role.

You will be an important part of the BI & Analytics IT Sweden unit and support the Data and Analytic needs of the Swedish Business Unit through identifying and acquisition of relevant data.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Working cross teams to coordinate onboarding of new data on our data platforms.
• Aligning onboarding with architectural principles
• Working with Business Analysts to understand the requirements
• Identifying data that fulfills those requirements, acquiring and describing the data as well as supporting Data Engineers with this understanding
• Describing and maintaining documentation around Information flows – how Information is being derived from Data.

You will also be responsible for streamlining the process of Data Acquisition into the Data and Analytics domain.

Your experience:

• Fundamental BI/DW and/or Big Data experience (5+ years)
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience of working with Business requirements and understanding their data implications
• Good communication skills and fluent in English, spoken and written.

Meriting:

• Thorough understanding of the Telco Business processes and the data generated by those processes.
• Experience with OSS and BSS applications
• Experience with languages like Python, Scala, Spark
• Experience with Visualization tools
• Experience working in a complex IT environment.
