This position is based in our ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which has its global HQ in Uppsala, Sweden. IDD develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,900 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.


How will you make an impact?


As the Technical writer / Product Information Expert you will be joining a team in the Product Information Team. The team creates and updates product information in the form of User manuals, Directions for use and Labels/Box prints. The product information must fulfill design, regulatory, environmental and marketing requirements to ensure that IDD’s systems for Allergy and Autoimmune diagnostics can be used safely and effectively.


What will you do?

  • Create, revise and publish hardware and software user manuals for Phadia instruments.
  • Represent Product Information in Product Development and Product Care projects, obtaining information required to create the documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments and drive activities within area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate translations and validation of translations with the translation agency and local marketing offices and distributors.
  • Contribute to the teams’ optimization of processes and workflows.

How will you get there?

  • Have a university degree in the life-science field (or equivalent) and/or experience from working in the life-science industry.
  • Have at least two years’ experience of writing technical user documentation.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English. Swedish is advantage.
  • Have a technical interest and good understanding of information mapping and CMS.
  • Experience in HTML coding and working with XML files.
  • Meriting experience:
  • Working in an environment governed by regulations, ISO13485 and QSR.
  • Some design experience, MadCap Flare, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
  • Experience working in CCMS Skribenta or similar systems.
  • Training/mentoring of others.
