FullStack Engineer

As a Fullstack Engineer in Motherbrain, you will be working together with data engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business stakeholders to revolutionize the core business of EQT and by that, the private equity industry. Motherbrain is a platform for using big data and machine learning to find interesting companies and people, based on their digital footprint. Motherbrain help EQT's investors research and predict the next big tech unicorn or see opportunities before everyone else.

What you’ll do

● Participate in all aspects of the product development lifecycle including devops, working closely with UX Designers and our users

● Contribute to a codebase built with Node.js, including a backend that uses data bases such as ElasticSearch and Redis as well as a frontend built with React

● Build features on a scalable architecture for modern high performing web applications

● Collaborate through pair programming, design sessions and code reviews

Who are you?

● Relevant hands-on experience on the full tech stack including devops and frontend

● Experience with React and Node.js full stack toolbox

● Experience and passionate about building great products

● Strong communication skills and a team player

● Humble with growth mindset

● You thrive in a fast paced environment and like to get things done

Nice-to-have

● Devops mindset and understand how code, infrastructure, tooling and processes all influence system characteristics and product capabilities

● Strong ability to define problems, formulate solutions and effectively collaborate to plan and execute

● Experience with CI/CD tools

● Experience with GCP, Kubernetes and Airflow
