Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer with a focus on quality and testing to join our SAM license team based at our global head office in Solna. This role will be responsible for driving QA and test process enhancement within the team and across other development teams, and to educate and help our developers to move quality ownership into the teams. You will take the lead and continuously improve and advocate for modern ways of building quality into the team daily work, and you will help the team see and assess risks in delivery, execution and operation of the developed functionality.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Having a willingness to learn product and the versatile domain of Technology Asset Management.
• Interacting with other teams for creating integration and end to end test coverage over the solution.
• Automation will take the central place for us but there some manual exploratory testing will be also needed.

Qualifications

As the successful candidate you will be software engineer who is confident in how to best create quality in agile development, with entry to intermediate development experience in C# and some experience of working with Selenium or a similar UI test framework. In addition you will have both development and test experience with Visual Studio. You will have a solid understanding of both development and testing principles, methodologies and practices, along with an understanding of BDD and TDD and how to integrate them into day-to-day work. Your testing skills will include creating automation (integration, Api and UI) as well as exploratory testing for a key solution, and you would have experience of working as part of a product development function.

As an individual, you are curious and have a passion for technology and product development; you invest your energy in driving quality ownership within your teams and you are open and honest with strong communication skills (listing, teaching, questioning, and coaching).
