The Opportunity As a software development engineer your main tasks will be to develop and implement new technical ideas, find solutions to technically challenging problems and potentially lead the technical development of our software team. In addition to this you are part of the proud team developing our iX platform, which is built using the latest Microsoft .NET technologies. The new global iX Developer is an open platform developed in .NET, comprised of an IDE development tool and running on Windows PC and CE platforms. You will also be working with future technology areas that our Software organization will look into.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic software developer in .NET/C# or in another object oriented language with at least three years of work experience within relevant areas. We require a technical Bachelor's or Master's degree within a relevant area of education. Knowledge and experience in modern Web development technologies/Cloud Solutions, covering client side (CSS3, HTML5, LESS) to server (Node.js or Java Web application delivery), dashboard applications (Azure, Amazon), experience in principles such as TDD, SOLID are considered an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have experience of design patterns and Software or Cyber Security. Since we work in an international environment, excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Communication in Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement. As a person you have great drive and power of initiative, you are able to motivate both yourself and others and have an innovative and out-of-box thinking. The role requires a natural passion for new technologies/methodologies and a visionary spirit. You prefer to work in a team and you are good at giving and receiving feedback to drive the team forward. You know what you want and can easily convey your vision to other people.
