Experienced Mainframe Developer at Nordea
Corporate eGateway (eGW) is the main host-to-host based channel available for Nordea?s biggest customers to handle their Cash Management needs. We are looking for a mainframe developer with a broad experience, who is able to implement IT changes based on IT specifications and coordinate work with 3rd party consultants when needed. You will be able to further develop one of Nordea?s most important products for corporate customers! Placement is at Nordea?s headquarters in central Stockholm with ca. 12 persons in your closest team.

The position expects you to:
Act as a close partner to IT Analyst, business stake-holders and external Indian developers while having ownership of the source code, implementation and testing of the changes.
Mainly develop but also drive and coordinate part of development process, having a close co-operation with your colleagues and external consultants.
Support Nordea?s ambition of increasing quality and structured solution development while having high focus on effective value chain management.
Be responsible for implementing and reviewing code, programs and systems. You support selected system maintenance assignments when requested.
Document your own work, and contribute to improve documentation in existing applications. You will be responsible for handover of changes within the service domain, including documentation and relevant knowledge transfer to colleagues when needed.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have at least 7-10 years of experience from development on mainframe platform, preferably from the financial sector with interest and experience from application development. You have high technical skills in the mainframe area (Cobol, IMS, DB2, DL/1, JCL, OPC/TWS, batch / online). Working with agile methods is seen as a benefit.
You have a bachelor degree or equivalent and relevant work experience. You are fluent in English, both conversation and writing. Swedish language is a benefit.
