Test Engineer

We are looking for a result oriented Test Engineer to join our growing team. You will be an essential part of the Tools & Engine team, collaborating closely with our embedded QA and the rest of the engineering team.

As a Test Engineer at Star Stable you will:

- Create and maintain automated tests running in continuous builds to catch defects before going into production
- Develop and maintain the automated test pipelines (Jenkins)
- Collaborate with a passionate team of engineers and QA, providing the right frameworks and tools to create a stable testing environment

We are looking for someone with:

- At least 4 years of experience working with software development
- Previous experience working as a Test engineer
- Strong knowledge in C++
- Solid experience with source control management tools (e.g. Perforce, Git)
- Strong empathy for our target audience and belief in our mission and values

It’s considered a plus if you also have:

- Experience working within the Game Industry
- Experience working with XCode and Visual Studio
- Experience working with CMake
- Experience with other scripting languages such as Python
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g Jenkins and Groovy)
- Experience working on multiple platforms such as MacOS, iOS, Linux, and Windows
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent understanding of debugging best practices
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field
