System administrator - Linux/Unix

Perido is searching for a system administrator for our client, a well known and global provider of communication technology and services. Our client is seeking a new colleague who is driven, positive and comfortable in the role as consultant. Their office is located in the northern parts of Stockholm, and you will here take on a broad and exciting role where you:

-Manage and maintain servers in a High Availability Clustered environment
-Build virtualize server environment, using Citrix and VMWare
-Manage installations, upgrades, patches, and backups
-Work with monitoring and tuning of Unix systems to achieve optimum performance levels
-Develop operating procedures and standards, and automation of daily activities
-Perform manual and automated routine system audits of servers to verify compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines for security
-Develop and promote operating procedures and standards, and document all the procedures
-Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.

Requirements
-Over 5 years of Linux/Unix Systems Administration experience that includes installing, configuring, and maintaining various operating systems, including RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.
-In depth understanding and experience in various Storage systems (i.e. SAN, NAS, iSCSI, etc.)
-In depth understanding and experience in various Network File systems (i.e. AFS, NFS, DFS, Linux, Unix, Perl, VMWare)
-Extensive skill in scripting languages (Perl, various Shell languages)
-Fluent in Swedish and English

Contract type
Full time, start as soon as possible. 1 year assignment (high probability of extension).
