Lead Developer - Data Persistence Solutions

Midas Technologies is seeking on behalf of its client, a Lead Developer with strong experience in the area of Data Persistence Solutions.
The successful candidate will work with development of the persistence layer of a big OSS solution, in a full agile process using Scrum methodology and building Scalable, highly-available Management features for the Network Manager product.

Required:
- Masters Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- 7 years Telecom or IT Industry Experience
- 7 years Systems Integration Experience
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of JEE environment (JEE6 is preferred)
- Experience with large SQL Databases and other non-SQL systems, building Scalable, highly-available solutions
- Hands-on experience with clustering in J2EE environments, HA, replication and scale-out of backend JEE components
- Practical knowledge of best coding/design practices and patterns, optimizations, scaling and clustering

Desirable:
- Extensive experience with EJB 3.x, (Jboss)
- Experience with distributed caching (Coherence, Infinispan) and other NoSQL systems
- Experience with REST and/or SOA
- Experience with workflow engines and business rules engines/CEP engines
- Basic Linux/Unix knowledge

The following certifications are desirable:
- Sun/Oracle Certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA)
- Sun/Oracle Certified Business Component Developer (SCBCD)
