Job Description
The client´s UX team consists of approx. 40 team members within e.g User research, UX design, UI design, and prototype development. We work in close collaboration with most departments within the client such as design, software development and product planning. Their responsibility as the UX team is to develop interaction design and the user experience for the client´s Infotainment system including all in-vehicle screens as well as other interaction touch points, such as steering wheel switches, floor console, mobile app and accessory products. We do everything from user research to prototype development within the team. In addition to vehicle projects, we are part of advanced engineering and innovation projects, exploring new ways of expanding UX.

As a UX strategist, you are part of the small strategy team reporting directly to UX MTD (Module Team Director). You are expected to take on a senior role and actively take part in the strategic decisions, proactively support UX within the organization, and support the UX team when needed.

Main responsibility is to proactively promote the work of the UX department. This may include a number of tasks ranging from stakeholder contacts, lead a project or initiative, mentor and support a design team, act as part of a UX development team, spec production, testing etc.

As all team members, you are expected to have an “all hands on deck” attitude and support where support is needed, even if it may be outside of your normal work scope. This role is dynamic, and your tasks will range between multiple areas, such as coaching team members, set roadmap, represent UX in different innovation projects, do hands-on design work etc.

The assignment may include travels (mainly to Asia), approximately 2-3 per year.
Note that this is only valid during normal circumstances and not during the corona pandemic.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of work experience within the field of UX and/or HMI development
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (English)
• Knowledge of design thinking methodology
• Knowledge of modern agile SW development
• A genuine interest in the field of UX and how to apply best practices
• Knowledge of some or several design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Principle, Keynote, etc.
• Knowledge of complex systems

Salary
According to agreement.

Admission and Application
Full time. The assignment is set until 2021-04-01 but with good chances to the prolonged. You will be employed by JobBusters as a consultant for our exciting client.
