About the job

You will join the Checkout Area and the Web Checkout team, a product team that delivers frontend code used by millions of customers every day. We are building a newly designed checkout in React to delight our customers, worldwide.

You will join a strong cross-functional team that consists of 8 people who together design, develop, test, implement and analyze all our customers’ behaviors with the tools at our disposal. You will also be a part of the frontend competence community in which you will be able to share, learn and participate in evolving the frontend community within H&M Group.

The team is highly autonomic and has the ownership of the products they develop. Some of your daily work includes:

· Focus on developing and implementing high quality code

· Collaborate with the team in the story flow from idea creation until analysis

· Code review other frontend developer’s pull requests

· Automate the testing of your code and watch it succeed

· Be a part of, and help improving our agile ceremonies and events

Who are you?

As a frontend developer at H&M Business Tech you will be part of a newly built business function. You are an important team player in this transformation, and we therefor believe you are communicative, full of drive and have a “you build it you run it” mindset.

You will work with a broad and holistic view. In addition to this, we believe you have:

· Strong coding skills in Javascript

· Experience with Reactjs development (including Redux)

· Experience and knowledge of API design

· Experience and knowledge of writing testable and high-quality code

We also believe that you are:

· Experienced in agile software development practices (automated testing, mob/pair programming, CI/CD etc.)

· Comfortable in discussing product design and improvements

· Experienced in Azure DevOps and/or other cloud environments
