System Software Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer you will join our System Software functional group within our Engineering & Development department, with focus on testing and developing test automation of our products. Responsibilities

It is our product development team that verifies that the products fulfill the requirements setup. This means that you will analyze requirements, create manual and automated test cases, setup test environments, perform tests, analyze and report results.

You belong to our Test Team for System Software, and you will together with your team colleagues develop test strategies, test methods, test environments and test automation.

You will also work in a Scrum environment together with Scrum Product Owners, System Architects, Software architects and Software developers, where you will be involved in development from early technical research until customer launch.

Requirements

We are looking for you with a genuine interest in software and specifically testing. In addition to this we prefer that you:

• have a degree from IT, Computer science or Electrical engineering
• have 2-3 years of experience in the software development/testing domain
• are an appreciated team member and have a good ability to understand technical documentation and requirements, creatively plan and create applicable test scenarios/test cases, trouble shooting in software environments, documenting and presenting results for stakeholders
• are proficient in written and spoken English

To be successful in this role, you have experience in software development using some programming language (e.g. Python, C#, JavaScript).

Our products consist of electronics as well as software components in standard Windows environment, and you therefore need to have some hands-on skill regarding test equipment setup. This includes physical setup of devices as well as setup Microsoft Windows, Linux, Network and virtualization environments, databases, simulations.

It is a merit if you have skills within test automation environments e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Robot Framework, Python, and CI/CD environments e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira.
