Embedded Software Developer - Telematics & Connectivity

Since early 2000, we have supported our clients on a fixed number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems telecommunication, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for more skilled engineers to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.

You are a passionate Software Engineer with solid experience in C ++, C and embedded systems, looking for a new and interesting project.

As a person we think you are motivated with excellent programming and interpersonal skills. This role gives you a great chance to learn new knowledge and share your own knowledge with the team.

We are looking for a strong embedded developer, with focus on Telematics & Connectivity.

Our customer aims to reinforce and accelerate their development of the next generation telematics and connectivity platform. You will be part of a cross functional development team working with connected infotainment software development.

The team you will be joining is responsible for design, development, optimization and verification of software in next generation In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems. The team uses Scrum methodology. The responsibility for you and the team covers functionality in the following areas:

• Telematics SW

• Connectivity

• Infotainment Head Unit (Android) SW

• Mobile app

Required skills:

• Master degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar

• Embedded Linux

• Strong skills in Embedded C++ and also C

• CI/CD tools (bash, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins)

• Development of Test Automation frameworks (both Windows and Linux environment)

• Test methodologies like System, Integration and Component testing

• Communicative in speech and writing

• Good English (written and spoken)

Preferred skills:

• Embedded Android

• Application development in C++

• Python

• Agile SW development

• Experience of working in a cross-functional team

Start: asap.

Duration: 12-24 months on site in Sweden, with a high probability of extension.

Extent: Full-time, 40h / week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.

Compensation: Negotiable.
