We are now looking for a full stack Senior Application Developer within the Foundation Services area.
Here you will be working with the latest AWS technologies and be an integral part of the Build Engineering team focused on the underlying build tools and services used to support all of the VGCS development deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the team´s services
- Providing Runtime support for services
- Providing technical support for colleagues
- Contributing to Roadmap and other improvements
Competence Profile & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years Java development
- Minimum 2 years working in AWS or similar cloud environments
- Strong experience with Java 8 and above
- Familiar with the Spring Framework / Spring Boot
- Competent in Linux and scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python)
- Experience working with distributed architectures
- Hands-on knowledge of automation (Packer, Ansible, Chef etc.) and CI/CD tools
- Working proficiency in NoSQL and SQL databases
- Competent in containerization
- Good knowledge of test Frameworks (Junit, Mockito, Wiremock etc)
- Comfortable with front-end development and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular
- Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
- Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
- Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement.
- Good time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize, context-switch, document and multitask as needed.
Good-to-have experience:
- Experience with serverless technologies and event-driven architecture
