Do you have an interest in product development and want to work within medical technology, sports biomechanics and biomechanics research? Qualisys are now looking for a machine learning engineer to join their team in central Gothenburg.

Qualisys market and sell motion capture solutions worldwide. Their high-speed cameras, tracking software and cloud solutions are all developed in-house.

What does the position require?

As machine learning engineer at Qualisys, you will be working in a small team to leverage deep-learning to create new, and improve existing applications for their customers. Since Qualisys are a rather small company, you will have a lot of influence when it comes to your work and your development. Of course, this kind of freedom comes with responsibility.

Your tasks include: Improving and developing infrastructure to manage the machine learning lifecycle, including data management, training and evaluation pipelines, as well as improving the quality of applications that use deep-learning models.

You have:

• Experience as a software developer with strong skills in Python
• Experience with delivering deep-learning applications using TensorFlow
• Deep understanding of the machine learning life cycle
• Working proficiency in English (Swedish is a bonus)

Also useful:

• Experience with computer vision
• Knowledge in C#, C++
• Background in math and algorithms
• Optimising neural-network model inference
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Experience with game engines/animation software like Unreal, Unity, Maya, Motionbuilder, Blender

Systems are sold both directly to clients as well as through distributors worldwide.
