and experienced value members get from our product, we want to make

our offering even more competitive and strengthen our viral loops.

Geo expansion

Our product portfolio will get more complex as we scale to new markets

and across new lines of insurance. We need strong product leadership in

the many launch projects we will take on and in the continuous product

management of the portfolio.


Evolving our org. structure and ways-of-working for scale

As we increase the size of the team, we will need to develop our current

org. structure and ways-of-working into a product-centric structure that

scale.

Responsibilities

  • Product strategy and vision
  • Set a product vision in alignment with Hedvig’s business goals
  • Develop a product strategy and vision that guides product development and business decisions
  • Establish target metrics to measure success and impact of product strategy
  • Capture impact of product strategy and development, and make adjustments to ensure long-term company vision and near-term business targets are realized
  • Build a product organization to execute on the product vision and strategy, and lead/manage product development directly until this is complete
  • Disseminate product vision and strategy across the company to reach alignment & understanding at the team & individual levels, to enable all employees to be vision advocates

Lead product


  • Structure the organization to support product vision and strategy
  • Lead and develop product design, UX/UI and Product Insights in alignment with our values and brand guidelines
  • Develop a product centric way of working that facilitates fast paced
  • Lead responsible teams/people in developing and continuously updating a long-term product roadmap to ensure trackable, successful execution on product strategy

People management

  • Recruit, train, and manage top talent product managers, product designers, and product insights researchers (UR & data science)
  • Coach and develop the people in your team and make them feel engaged, appreciated, well-informed and accountable for results
  • Nurture a high performing learning culture in your team
  • Nurture a culture of innovation and customer-centric thinking in the team
  • Ensure, nurture and be accountable for maintaining an inclusive and safe culture across the product, product design, and product insights teams/organizations
