Job description
The newly established organization TV4 Media is a priority business area within TeliaCompany that places a lot of resources behind the development of next generation TV solutions. Our consumer brands include TeliaTV, Telia Play, C More, MTV, TV4.se and TV4 Play.
Responsibilities
You will be part of our great team Amigos, where you collaborate with three other smart colleagues who are experts on the TV Platform in different ways. Amigos is the small fast-paced devops team that is the glue between development teams and operations. We handle and solve incidents and changes on a daily basis and are part of supporting and driving the TV platform towards new technology but still supporting the legacy that is there.
Qualifications
- A background in development organizations and databases with complex environments
- Strong knowledge of DB engines MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDS, NoSQL
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Strong knowledge of DB monitoring and operations
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, optimization for performance etc
- Knowledge within Cloud Computing, Containerization (Docker) and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), RedHat Openshift is meriting
- Familiar with the development wide world of scripts, infra and tooling such as java, go, JBoss/SpringBoot, Ansible, Hibernate, Apache, Kafka, HornetQ, Elastic, Redis, Caches, REST/Web APIs etc etc
- Familiar and comfortable with Agile methodologies and DevOps way of working
