Since 2011, our adventure game Star Stable Online has changed the gaming industry, providing a platform for girls to come together and share an amazing online experience. Technical Animator at Star Stable

As a Technical Animator at Star Stable, you will have a unique opportunity to work on a project with a lot of history that needs to be maintained, adapted, and improved in order to reach our mission. Because you will be our only Technical Animator, you will have a lot of freedom to plan your days and shape your role but one of your most important tasks is to bridge tech and the animators. You will support the animation team with technical advice and also communicate across the organization to highlight useful information needed to improve processes.

To thrive in this position, we think you

- Have a minimum of 4 years experience as a Developer (for scripting and coding or animation)
- Have coding experience in Python and a great understanding of game engines
- Are proficient in working with Maya
- Are a self-motivated individual capable of planning, prioritizing, and executing your tasks according to the team's need
- Have a well understanding of the animation principles within games and are comfortable with applying them in projects
- Have experience with game animation pipelines

Nice to have:

- Game frame animation
- Motion capture
- Character design, especially creatures and quadrupeds
