E-mobility SW Test Engineer - Automotive

MBE are expanding and are looking for creative, curious and senior software engineers with experience from ICE and electric drive system integration together with competence in software implementation to join our journey to flawless project delivery within Hybrid E-mobility together with our clients as OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the Global Automotive Industry.

Our customers within Engine Controls & Diagnostics is responsible for combustion engine control and diagnostics algorithms, for calibration, validation and certification of hybrid powertrains.

We are now looking to strengthen our team with more Software Testers with experience of SW testing of model based developed SW. The Software Tester has the responsibility to make sure that software testing is performed in a correct way, regarding the test phase as well as the documentation. Verification of the software is performed both in vehicle and virtual environments. Most verification is performed within SIL environment with an aim of high level of automated testing.

WORK DESCRIPTION:

• Plan and implement software tests

• Execute and log tests in environment like SIL, HIL, rig and vehicle

• Contribute in software design and Implementation reviews for testability

• Evaluate test results and document deviations

• Responsible for keep up to date with new and changed requirements, design and implementation

• Report software issues found during verification

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· M.Sc Data, Software, Systems, Signals & Control engineering or equivalent.

· Minimum 3 years of experience as software engineer.

• Proven experience in software development in Matlab/Simulink/TargetLink

• Excellent knowledge of Python 2 and 3

• Experience from testing languages and methods, unit and merge testing

• Experience from applicable standards and methods, ISO 26262, Autosar or other

• Combustion engine knowledge

• University degree in engineering (Bachelor or Master)

• Knowledge and experience in agile way of working

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Driver license (level B) is recommended
