We are now looking for an Experienced/Senior Linux System Engineer to evolve and ensure the evolution of one of Ericsson’s most exciting and disruptive products: Industry Connect.

This role will report to the Advanced Industries Development Manager.

You will

• Drive strategic technical leadership
• Perform continuous analysis and requirements handling
• Develop and test high quality products
• Perform trouble shooting and customer support
• Drive continuous improvements of products
• Develop competence in technical domain

To be successful in the role you must have

• Solid and extensive experience with Linux System Administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of one of the following distributions: - SUSE - CentOS/Red Hat
• Strong network understanding
• Linux kernel network stack (XDP would be beneficial)
• Advanced Routing and Switching knowledge (including VIPs)
• Network application development experience
• DPDK Applications
• Throughput intensive applications
• Scripting skills, preferrably Python

Preferred additional requirements

• Kubernetes
• Experience with cluster setup and configuration as well as deployment of workloads
• Deployment of workloads with Helm
• Container creation
• Kubernetes CNI networks experience
• Saltstack experience
• Microservices architecture experience
• DevOps exposure
• Full stack understanding
• Performance analysis and tuning experience

Useful experience and knowledge

• Git and Gitlab
• CI/CD & Jenkins
