Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.

We are now looking for a front-end tester with a passion for technology and the willingness to be part of developing state-of-the-art software applications.

As a person, you are a team player with a positive mind-set and you know the various challenges of application development and quality assurance. A customer-oriented attitude is in your nature, you care about quality, allow yourself to be inspired, have a “can do” attitude and take pride in your work.

The role

• Assure quality of software applications – mainly front-end, but sometimes back-end is as well
• Coach the agile team in test methods and processes
• Develop and improve tests in the agile team
• Troubleshooting reported issues from customers or other teams using our applications
• Analysis of test results and bugs as well as communication with depending parties
• You will be working with both manual and automated testing
• Actively contribute to the solution of new services
• Finally, but not at least, continuously reflect upon how we are doing things and where we can improve

Your profile

Personality is your major reason for success, but we think you also have:

• Relevant technical education in software testing or development
• Huge interest in testing that can be shown from previous work experience, projects and courses Minimum 3-Years’ Experience as Application tester, where minimum 1 year experience with cypress, selenium, protractor or similar web automation framework
• JavaScript, we work in an in-house framework based on cypress.io with full CI-integration and a own developed mock-server
• Experience in both front-end & back-end is a bonus
• Knowledge in asynchronous programming, micro service architecture, cloud services, test automation frameworks
• Experience from mobile applications is also a great advantage
• Fluent in Swedish and English - both written and spoken
• Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
