Data Engineer - Analytics and Data Platforms

Our product area is called Analytics and Data Platforms, and our teams are responsible for all data processing, reporting and advanced analytics capabilities across the whole value chain. About the position

You will join the product area and according to your interests, experience and competencies, will work with one of our product teams. You and your team leverage modern software engineering principles and cloud services to build robust data solutions for our entire value-chain, in production, logistics, sales, marketing and others. We hope you appreciate working in autonomous teams, have a hands-on attitude and believe that no challenge is too big if we have the right support and tools in place.

We appreciate a multitude of technical backgrounds but we believe you enjoy working here if you’re passionate about data. It's all about the data! Backend data, extraction, transformation, models, architecture and governance. Figuring things out, solving problems. Building new solutions from ground up. These are all things that really give you extra energy at work and perhaps things that you believe are the best part of a job.

We are looking for you who

• Interacting with Stakeholders/Source systems and gathering information about their requirements from the company
• Collaborate with other engineers and specialists in building data-driven solutions that have laser-focus on business problems and our customers
• Analyze the information gathered and prepare ETL design to present to the Stakeholders of the BI Team.
• Extracting company data through Integrations and transferring it into the new warehousing environment.
• Specifying the requirements of the Stakeholders/Source System to the development team of the company
• Designing, creating, maintaining, and continuously expanding optimal ETL and architecture
• Modernize existing ETL flows .

Your skills and abilities:

• You are a team player, solution-driven and open-minded, with a passion for continuous improvement and automation
• Solid track record in data engineering in business intelligence/ advanced analytics environments and great knowledge in datawarehousing.
• Experience with Backend ETL Tool Informatica and SQL.
• Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
• Experience with version control workflows - Git and Azure Devops is a plus.
• Experience with MongoDB and Python is a plus.
• Experience with designing and architecting cloud-based data solutions.
• Solid software architecture skills, keen to leverage patterns to write code which is resilient, scalable, and maintainable
• You have experience working in agile teams, and using supporting tools such as JIRA/ServiceNow
• Excellent communication skills in English, Swedish is a plus

Tools and software used by the teams: Azure Synapse, Informatica, Netezza, SQL Server, MongoDB, Python, GIT, Azure Devops ,Jira ,ServiceNow and many others.
