Software Engineer

Job requirements

• Guarantee the correct Software design and implementation in following programming languages/framework:
• Ada
• C
• C++
• Delphi (preferable)
• Qt (preferable)

In accordance with company procedures and applicable international standards/norms.

• Ensure to the proper requirements management for all the phases of the software lifecycle according to company standard processes.
• Guarantee the design and the implementation of a complete solution (Modules, documentation and tools).
• Guarantee the correct operation of the SW on the applicable platforms.
• Contribute to the proper planning and management of the product development activities.
• Ensure the definition and the application of common methodologies, technical solutions and best practices in coherence with the Development function.
• Ensure the execution of code reviews and verification activities on issued documents, according to the V&V Plan.
• Establish and meet timelines and deadlines supporting the project during all the phases.
• Consult with project team, managers and leaders to ensure time/quality/costs expectations are met.

Education / Qualifications and soft skills

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded SW development for railway applications (ERTMS/STM)
• Standard/norms: EN 50128:2011, ETCS B3 R2
• Accurate and structured
• Team player and strong inter relationship capability
• Eager to work in an international environment
• Able to work independently and in team environment with minimal supervision
• Able to work under pressure and achieve challenging milestones

Languages

Swedish is highly preferable, English is a must.
