Software Engineer - Access

Access
Access team is responsible for making Tink's API easy and secure to consume for customers and to expose for other teams. This means working with things such as authentication, authorization, API gateway, storing and managing end-user data (GDPR) etc.

How we work
We are a tech company, one that’s modern, approachable, agile and always looking for a better way of doing things. We work in small teams that have full ownership of our services from idea, design and implementation to operations and maintenance. This brings responsibility, creativity and motivation as you will be a big part in developing both existing and future products. It gets you closer to the end product and makes you proud of what you have accomplished with your impact.

Access is a small team within the bigger “Platform” area, involving people from engineering, product and commercial to create a mini-startup within the Tink organization. (We are about 5 backend engineers in each team.) All together responsible for delivering services to make better financial decisions.

Tech
The team has ownership of the edge proxy (Envoy), various authentication flows, rate limiting, mutual TLS authentication and more. As a member of the team, you will be working with high load systems with high uptime and low latency requirements. We use AWS as a platform, and technologies such as Java, Go, Envoy Proxy, Cassandra, Redis, Bazel, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Docker, gRPC, Prometheus, Jaeger, ELK-stack and MySQL, and all our microservices run on Kubernetes. You don’t have to have worked with all of the above technologies, but experience or interest in learning them is a plus.
