IT Infrastructure Specialist

P27 is a company owned by Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, OP Financial Group, SEB and Swedbank. The vision of P27 is to establish, within the Nordics, the first integrated region for domestic and cross-border real-time payments in multiple currencies.

The IT Infrastructure Specialist will come together with the IT Manager be an important part of the P27 organization and plays a pivotal role in maintaining and managing outsourcing service providers as well as outlining and maintaining the IT strategy including the business and IT components infrastructure. The IT Infrastructure Specialist reports to the Head of IT.

The IT Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

· Report to and be a sparring partner for the Head of IT

· Responsible for deployment of end user workstations and accessories for new hires via our IT Service provider

· Maintain organization effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technology

· Develop security awareness program and conduct training to ensure that stakeholders understand and contribute to IT risk management process

· Provide timely attention to all internal Helpdesk requests, for local and remote based users

The IT Infrastructure Specialist will support the IT Manager whose responsibilities include the ongoing orchestration and management of:

· Setting up and maintaining the Business and IT Strategy

· Analyse P27's IT needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity and efficiency supporting P27's business and IT strategy

· Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration

· Maintain the standardized IT operations, including operating systems, applications, servers, internal controls and infrastructure

· Monitoring and control of outsourcing service providers from an IT perspective

· Setting up, maintaining and management of IT governance

· Requirement management

· Setting up, maintaining and management of IT risk controls

Align all risk management activities on the principles, processes and methods defined by the risk control function on an annual basis

· Setting up, maintaining and management of Information security and Cyber security in close corporation with the CISO

Ensure security and documentation of data, network access and backup systems

· Continuously analyse current process, technologies, and suppliers to identify areas of improvement

· Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software

· Outlining and detailing P27's current and future IT architecture, including making a roadmap for the delivery

The desired candidate profile

The desired candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

· 5+ years of experience in the Banking/Finance industry or a regulated industry and experience in managing technology and information resources

· 3+ years of experience in corporate environment

· Ability to manage complex and critical relationships and work both independently and in a team environment

· Proven track record in setting up guidelines and responsible for managing IT matters to P27 outsourcing service providers

· Ability to understand new issues quickly and make swift/wise decisions

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Knowledge of payments infrastructures and electronic funds transfer systems (as Bankgirot, CHIPS and Fedwire or similar)

· Build consensus and resolve conflicts, demonstrate good judgment

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and build credibility with internal and external stakeholders

· Experience working in an agile development environment

· Fluency in English and at least one of the Nordic languages (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or Finnish)
