Machine Learning Engineer

What you will be doing:

· Design and develop reusable workflows for data integration, transformation, and feature engineering required to train models

· Enabling teams to easily train, evaluate and serve ML models at scale

· Integrate modelling solutions into our overall technical platform

· Build & maintain a production-ready experimentation platform to run models in parallel

· Build feature management framework to efficiently engineer, share, discover, and access features for ML models

· Engage with mission owners/stakeholders to discover applications for ML, set project expectations, define requirements, and review results

· Advising product teams on new products, features or updates through evidence-based recommendations

What we need from you:

· Solid programming experience with good practices such as writing maintainable code, etc.

· Strong knowledge of Python, SQL including related ecosystems and frameworks, like Pycharm/Intellij and Notebook

· Expertise with ML libraries, like Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy, PySpark

· Experience with ML platforms, like MLFlow, Spark, Databricks, and TensorFlow

· ML pipelines and their orchestration

· Distributed data processing in Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery, or Apache Beam

· Experience with DevOps and automate software development processes. Comfortable with technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

· Solid experience of working in cloud (preferably Azure, but AWS/GCP also relevant)

· Comfortable with Linux/Bash and scripting

· Good understanding of data structures and database technologies

· Strong personal drive, fast learner, technology agnostic, pragmatic

· Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities while working effectively in a joint team

· Passionate about big data and machine learning technology

· Fluent in English, any other language is a plus

· B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent), or M.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent)

Preferred experience:

· Azure Databricks or Apache Spark

· Experience of architecture/cloud solution design

· M.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent)

· Experience developing and delivering ML-based services and product features into commercial software applications.
