We are now looking into strengthening our team with one FPGA / ASIC validation engineer.

The IP Design 3 team (part of Digital ASIC and FPGA in Lund) has the assignment, in cooperation with Kista, to develop and verify Ericsson DPD (Digital Pre Distortion) IP for Digital Radio ASICs.


The work consists of understanding and developing DPD algorithms, defining the implementation architecture, developing and implementing them in RTL, verifying them first on block and then on top level using the latest UVM and formal methodologies. As part of algorithm evaluation and product verification HW Lab test are required, competence in this area is therefore a plus.

You will

  • Understand and developing DPD (Digital Pre Distortion) algorithms
  • Defining the implementation architecture of the algorithms, developing them in RTL, verifying them first on block and then on top level using the latest UVM and formal methodologies
  • Verification HW Lab lest are made, competence in this area is therefore a plus

To be successful in the role you must have

  • MSc level in a technical field or the equivalent level of education
  • 6-8 years’ of experience in design and verification, hands on experience in verification specification and planning, UVM test bench creation, metrics definition, code and functional coverage improvements.
  • Experience in digital ASIC/FPGA verification using UVM methodology
  • Scripting experience e.g. Python, TCL, and/or Perl
  • Communication and presentation skills in English are essential
