Our Exciting Opportunity

We are a small and specialized department, developing products and solutions for the Ericsson Cloud Core – one cloud packet core for all accesses and services. What we do is vital to accelerate the digital transformation, building our networked society where everyone and everything that can be connected, will be connected.

Core Integration & Verification is a unique activity in the quality assurance activities of our products. With us you will be engaged in the end-to-end integration, troubleshooting and testing of multiple 5G core nodes, radio and mobiles. What we offer, is for you to build an outstanding competence in the deployment and functionality of basically a complete mobile network.

We work in small teams, planning our jobs together and share the progress. The teams have a Kanban-like approach to the workflow. We have in-house developed tools that we evolve and maintain in the teams; therefore it is a strength if you have good skills in Python.

This position will be reporting to the R&D Manager.

You will

• Have knowledge in Software testing in sophisticated Linux/UNIX environments
• Contribute to troubleshooting in Linux environments
• Work with TCP/IP networking, and with tools like Wireshark, etc.
• Have knowledge in general shell scripting competence, e.g. BASH
• Have good competence in Python.
• Be a great teammate by sharing and learning together

To be successful in the role you must have

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in the Computer, Electrical or Telecommunication Science or similar relevant areas
• A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience
• Good written and spoken English
• Any background working with Ericsson packet core products is beneficial
