We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with passion for designing robust highly automated cloud infrastructure!
You will be part of a DevOps team developing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for our video streaming services such as Stream Pilot. The team is responsible for keeping the cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure always up as well as evolving our GitOps driven infrastructure. Your role in the team will be both to work hands-on with building and maintaining our infrastructure but also to take technical lead and guide the team when needed. As a member of the team, you will also be part of a rotating on-call schedule.
The development takes place in our Stockholm office, located just a few blocks from the Central Station.
All new employees are assigned a mentor and we have individual development plans for everyone.
At Edgeware you will among other things work with Python, Boto3, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Prometheus, AlertManager & Opsgenie.
Must
- Strong coding experience, preferably in Python
- Hands-on experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure or equal
- Experience in Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins)
- Swedish or English in both speech and writing
- Work permit in Sweden/EU
Desirable
- Experience in IaC (infrastructure as code)
- Experience from working in a DevOps team
- Knowledge of best-practices in an always-up, always-available service
- Experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines towards cloud (preferably AWS)
- Interest in/experience from the streaming media business (DASH/HLS/MSS, MP4, MPEG-TS, DRM-systems)
