What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a new colleague as Simulink Software Developer in the Interior Light Team. 
Interior Light is a part of Interior Trim & Systems department consisting of approximately 120 engineers organized into groups developing components and functions within the following areas: Interior Light, Interior Detection, Floor systems, Compartment Trim, Overhead system, Police & Customized cars, Accessories and Interior Rear Trim.

You will work in an Agile team together with other Software Developers as well as System Design Engineers, who are working to deliver a premium illumination experience of the interior. The Agile team is responsible for the development of lighting functions inside the car. 

What you’ll do
Main responsibilities:
•    Develop software components and applications in MATLAB/Simulink
•    Review software requirements specification
•    Design and develop unit test specifications and perform unit testing
•    Responsible for issue and change management on developed models
•    Secure that models are ready in time, updated and released
•    Discuss technical solutions with supplier and the internal team
•    Support investigations and task force activities

Do you fit the profile?
Required qualifications:
•    B.Sc. grade within Electrical, Computer, Engineering Physics or equivalent level of education
•    Experience of Simulation and Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink
•    Experience of developing software algorithms and specifications
•    Fluent in English (written and spoken)
•    B driving license

Meritorious qualifications:
•    M.Sc.in Electrical, Computer or Engineering Physics
•    Knowledge in AUTOSAR
•    Knowledge in Automotive Functional Safety Standard ISO26262
•    Knowledge in Volvo Product Development System (VPDS) 
•    Experience from software design for automotive
•    Programming skills in C, C++ and Python
•    Agile development processes
•    Other programming language skills
