QA Engineer - Product Development

Quality Assurance engineers in our company help achieve best performance and robustness of modern products based on Chromium open-source browser engine, delivered to millions of end users.

QA engineers in Vewd use tools like Jenkins, Docker, Robot and keep track of defects using Jira and Xray, and code testing automation in Python along with Git and Gerrit.

Responsibilities:

• Drive improvements in quality assurance processes and test automation.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipeline
• Monitor the results of automated tests
• Work with your team to understand test scenarios, requirements, and acceptance criteria in order to ensure product quality.
• Prepare tests environment, setup and maintain devices used in testing.
• Execute existing test suites and perform exploratory tests
• Analyse and report defects

Requirements:

• Experience in test automation or script language (Python, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in embedded software testing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Structured but also creative personality
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Linux system environment

Extra scores for:

• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and Browser Developer Tools
• Experience with Android testing
• Experience with statistics, data analysis and visualization.
