Software Engineer to Payments Store within Customer Domain, Checkout Area

Job Description

As a Frontend developer at H&M Business Tech you will embark on a journey that will lead to something new and exciting. You are an important team player in this transformation, and so we believe you are communicative, full of drive and have a “you build it you run it” mindset.

You will join the PayNow Store team which is a product with the aim to provide best in class payment & refund solutions and experiences for our customers worldwide. As a software Engineer you will build and scale software solutions that make this happened!

You will join a strong cross-functional team who together design, develop, test, implement and analyze our payment store solutions. This means communicating internally across the H&M Group, and with external suppliers on a daily basis. You will be highly involved driving dialogs to improve our payment solutions which you will be able to share, learn and participate in evolving the to meet and exceed our customer expectations and create high business value.

The team has full ownership of the products they develop. Some of your daily work includes:

• Focus on developing and implementing high quality code

• Collaborate with the team in the story flow from idea creation until analysis

• Code review other developer’s pull requests

• Automate the testing of your code and watch it succeed

• Be a part of, and help improving our agile ceremonies and events

Qualifications

As a Software Engineer developer at H&M Business Tech you will be part of a broad and holistic view. In addition to this, we believe you have:

• Excellent programming skills using modern languages e.g. in Java, Kotlin
• Experience and knowledge of API design and integrations
• Experience and knowledge of writing testable and high-quality code
• Comfortable in agile software practices and ceremonies

Qualifying requirements:

• Payment ecosystem experience
• Worked with Test automation
• Experienced in Azure DevOps and/or other cloud environments
• Experience in Agile software development
• Experience and knowledge of data communication and device driver
