Det här är ett konsultuppdrag med goda möjligheter till överrekrytering. Arbetsuppgifter:

As a developer at Axfood IT, you are responsible for evolving the ecosystem for machine learning which provides shared, reusable and trusted functions to the company's Data Science teams. We are using a modern cloud-based stack primarily based on AWS Serverless, Airflow, Docker, Sagemaker, ECS, RDS and APIGW.

The team works according to agile principles and strive to become a self-organized, cross-functional team in constant improvement (Kaizen)
In our daily work we reduce time to market of forecasts and recommendations by developing functions, improve automation as well as support our Data Scientist teams in model optimization and deployment.

We are looking for you that have a background in object-oriented programming, preferably python, with experience in developing & deploying cloud solutions. You are passionate about understanding the customer's needs, continuous improving & automating your code and want to broaden yourself within solutions for more efficient big data processing and machine learning.

Utbildning, Erfarenhet och personliga egenskaper:

• Post-secondary education in IT/System Development
• Experience in object-oriented development, preferably with knowledge in Python, Docker, Linux and Git
• Experience of development at AWS services (Infrastructure as code)

Meritorious
• You are maintaining your own project on GitHub
• Experience in API development, monitoring, microservices, test automation
• Experience and interest in optimization of data processing on cloud-infrastructure, e.g. by parallelization of data processing or selecting the right storage format such as Parquet/ORC
• Experience with other cloud services besides AWS
