Are you a technical generalist that thrives on solving complex challenges? Are you driven by being the group's overall technical specialist?

The Revenue group in Enterprise IT & Operations is a team of 9 persons. Our primary responsibility is our applications for mediation, rating, billing, and payments. Our main task is the daily operation of these applications. We investigate and solve production issues, and we constantly try to improve our systems' long-term stability, security, and performance. We are technical specialists and like to go into the technical details together with our developers. Still, we are very much focused on the business perspective and the value that our systems provide to our customers, and we work together with the business organization on a daily basis to achieve the best possible customer experience.

About the role
As part of the team, you will have a key role as the group's technical overall specialist. As new functionality is constantly delivered from our IT development department, we continuously need to develop and improve our solutions for monitoring and alerting. You will work to maximize the performance and stability of our applications by performing tuning of the application setup, and by writing requirements to developers to improve solutions that has proven to be unreliable. You will help and assist the other members of the team when they are faced with complex and difficult issues. We constantly seek to improve ourselves and our way of working, and we encourage the contribution of new ideas. You will take part in improving existing solutions, and suggesting, evaluating, and adopting new applications and technologies.

You will also help with solving issues in our production environment. This includes one week of on-call duty during evenings and weekends about 6 times a year.

Our IT environment is primarily based on Linux as OS and Oracle as DB, but Windows servers and other databases such as Mongo DB are also used. Applications are developed in various programming languages, so we need a broad mix of competence in the team to troubleshoot and fix problems.

Who you are
To be successful in the position, we believe you have several years of experience from a similar role. You have a burning interest in IT with a curiosity to learn new things every day. You are practical and hands-on and feel comfortable working with common IT development and administration tools. You are familiar with popular scripting languages and SQL.
Since you will work closely with both the development teams and the business organization, you can easily get into in-depth technical details and convey pedagogically the essence of the message for internal users working towards the customer. To be a structured and analytical problem solver comes naturally for you, where you are motivated by being faced with new challenges.

You will have many contact areas within Tre, and you value face-to-face communication. Therefore we see that you have a good communicative ability and succeed on building contact networks.

Your drive and commitment to solving technical problems have made you successful in previous roles. You dare to think outside the box to independently test new tracks in your path to work efficiently. Furthermore, you thrive in a role where you motivate and engage your colleagues around you.
