What do we do? 
Our team develops and maintains an end-to-end solution that uses the mobile network to collect information about cars. The data is published within the company and used by other teams to draw conclusions about the car, improving ownership experience. The solution is today used on many cars in several countries. We are developing for Linux/QNX based systems with Linux based tools. Our main programming languages are Go and C/C++ with a bit of Python in the mix. We are aiming for high quality deliveries, so we write a lot of tests. We also aim to keep development speed up by avoiding friction caused by processes and tools. Our technology roadmap is exciting, and you will be part of an amazing journey when we scale up with vehicles and features.

What will you do?
In your role as Embedded Software Developer, you are a member of a tight agile development team which is responsible to deliver the end-to-end solution for the data collection capabilities. You will be responsible for implementing complete features and test the features by automatic test cases that run in the CI environment. With the latest tools and technologies available and through collaboration with colleagues you will deliver state-of-the-art software. 

What do you need to know?
You are passionate about code development and quality. You have experience from system engineering and software testing. Developing for Linux systems using Linux is something you enjoy. You have experiences from working with programming/script languages like C++/Go/Python and CI work using Git. You are fluent in English (verbal and written). You have a M.Sc. in Software/Electrical Engineering and at least 6 years’ experience of software development.

It is meritorious if you have a driver license, have GDPR compliance knowledge and experience from automotive communication buses, CAN, Flexray and Ethernet.
