As you can imagine, keeping track of over 1 000 000 connected customer assets rolling around the world is indeed a challenge. Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products. Within Consumer Services we have the extraordinary great Driver Times Management team which manages the development and maintenance of services related to driver times – and your experience is needed.

We are now looking for Senior Front End Developer with architectural capacity within Driver Times Management team.

The role

• Develop new software applications according to our development standards
• Deploy, operate and maintain our applications incl. driving continuous improvement of the same for better quality, functionality, cost effectiveness, etc.
• Actively contribute to the solution design and architecture of the domain
• And finally, but not the least, continuously reflect upon how we are doing things and where we can improve

Your profile

We are looking for a Front End Developer with superpower - excellent analytical skills, great at problem-solving, passionate about technology and who loves developing software applications! You ensure that you understand how your work is adding value to our customers and are not limited to take on development tasks but also willing to chip in were needed, may it be testing, scrum master or other activity. In this team we are curious about everything at work and have a “can do” attitude solving our challenges together, making sure to complete each sprint as planned. We would like our new colleague to have this same curiosity, drive and being a team player.

Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think you have:

• A university degree in software engineering, computer science or similar
• Several years’ of working experience as Application Developer, but we also recognize experience through own hobby projects
• Experience of React, NodeJS, GIT
• Knowledge in following techniques is a great plus: GraphQL, REST, JMS, Swagger, Scala, Gatling, Asynchronous programming, Micro service architecture, AWS cloud services, Test automation frameworks, CSS3, Typescript, DevOps.
• Fluent in Swedish and English - both written and spoken
• Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
