Expansive Worlds is a creative division of Avalanche Studios Group and a renowned developer and publisher of outdoor games. Since 2009, Expansive Worlds has been devoted to delivering highly immersive outdoor gaming experiences for millions of players and best known for the long-standing and successful theHunter franchise.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and dynamic UI Designer for theHunter: Call of the Wild, to join our awesome team in Malmӧ or Stockholm.

You will work closely with the Product Owner and the Game Design team to design, improve and maintain all aspects of the UI based on the needs of the project. As the owner of the UI design, you will help guide the vision, run tests with user-research labs and ultimately be responsible for our UI in the game. As a UI Designer, you focus your work on providing the best UI possible and consider accessibility as a core factor in your work.

Required Qualifications

- UI design experience on at least one published PC / console / mobile game
- Thorough knowledge of flow / function / form and UI progression
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative outlook

Desired Qualifications

- Familiarity with Scaleform
- Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools such as Sketch or Axure
- Experience in A/B Testing & Live services
- Strong Photoshop skills
- UI/UX design qualifications or training
- A knowledge of open-world games
