In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Get more familiar with Swedbank reporting area and MicroStrategy Enterprise application and deliver real business value to stakeholders within Swedbank, Swedbank Group and Saving banks.
  • Work alongside other engineers within the team with agile methods. In the role, your responsibilities include ensuring that the BI reporting application platform environment is up & running during service opening hours. Analyze, design, develop, test and maintain services is delivered by the team.
  • Proactively reduce the technical depts and suggest changes that include high level of automation.
  • Deploy solutions that meet the quality standards of a modern enterprise reporting platform.
  • Contribute with technical input and highlight requirements needed from our business and stakeholder areas.
  • Support the reporting value stream and architects with proactive work, give feedback and with overall main focus to deliver valuable and sustainable solutions over time.

What is needed in this role:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience from application operation and maintenance with technical competence within mainly MicroStrategy application but other reporting product is also valid (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI or SAP BO).
  • Good understanding of agile development procedures, data governance and BI service development methodology.
  • Documented SQL Development skill
  • Experience from infrastructure or Middleware Application operation & Integration or development software related roles within business, IT development or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience with advanced analytics such as mining, AI, “R” Python is considered as a plus.
  • Experience and understanding of Datawarehouse concepts/design and implementation including Data analysis, data modeling and data integration is considered as a plus.
  • Experience from Azure Cloud will be advantage
  • Experience from application operation and maintenance, incident/problem release and change management
  • You are self-motivated and have a can-do attitude and able to work both individually and in teams.
  • Have a genuine interest to learn new skills and help others to succeed.
  • Speak & Write English Fluently
