Traditionally the appliance industry has been all about Hardware. Today, in the eye of IoT, voice assistants and autonomous systems, Software is increasingly entering the center stage to be married with hardware for a winning product. As such, Electrolux is strengthening the team with a System Tester with a passion for quality and communication.

You will be part of a cross functional product team based in Stockholm, working with Engineering, Design and Product management to drive the digital design in the Consumer Experience organization. We work with robotic vacuum cleaners, smart air purifiers, kitchen appliances and other types of data driven IoT-products.

Our products consist of interactions between appliances, apps, API’s and third party integrations. A complex and fast growing network of components needs an ever evolving approach to quality assurance and the way we design our system for testability. In this position we are looking for someone that can take on all things test, both internally with the development going on in our team but also in the interfaces towards our stakeholders and partners.

The work includes

· Analyzing new needs and defining acceptance criteria’s together with product managers, UX and devs

· Producing test strategies, test plans and test cases

· Performing manual tests, exploratory tests, load tests, etc.

· Automating test and maintaining automated test suites

· Gathering data from users and systems to guide and assist in trouble shooting

· Taking active part in team’s improvement work

Required competence and experience

· > 3 years of experience in testing IT systems, apps or products

· > 2 years of experience in testing IoT systems, including apps

· Knowledge of tools for app-, API- and system tests (Appium, MS Test, Postman, Azure DevOps)

· Programming skills to write and maintain automated test suits (mainly C#)

· Previously worked with full-stack product centered teams
