Our digital journey ahead  

ATG has some of Sweden’s biggest- and fastest-growing digital products, with hundreds of thousands of users every week. We are now intensifying our commitment to our digital development by strengthening the teams that work with digital product development, with a particular focus on streaming, personalisation and performance. Together, we are working to achieve our goal of creating the world’s best gaming experience.  

App streaming developer  

ATG has several live channels that can be seen on atg.se and in the mobile app. For those that prefer linear TV, you can see our own TV channel ATG Live if you are a customer of Com Hem or Boxer. We can also be seen on TV12 when our major events occur on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. We want to take the next step and offer all our live channels to all customers owning a Chromecast or an Apple TV as well. Furthermore, we would like to enable AirPlay for those customers that are using our iOS app. 

We are looking for a developer with experience of delivering streaming content in such apps. 

You need experience of the Chromecast SDK and/or tvOS SDK. The choice between Kotlin or Java for Chromecast and the choice between Swift or Objective-C is up to you, as you will start this from a clean slate. There are no previous TV apps to build from. 

Our current apps for iOS and Android are build using React Native as the focus when making those were the betting experience. Now it’s time for the live experience. 

You will be the first one at ATG with this skillset and you are given a chance to bring new product offerings from the bottom up. Who knows what ideas you will have in future for our hundreds of thousands of on-demand videos of old races stretching back many, many years... 
 

About me - Håkan Sandström, Manager Digital Sales channel 

I am Håkan Sandström and I’ve been working at ATG for about one and a half years as a Manager for the Digital Sales channel. I see myself more as a coach than a manager and want to create the best conditions for you as a developer to grow here at ATG. If you want to work at a company where innovation and exploring new techniques are valued high, you should come and be a part of ATG and our digital journey.  

During my spare time I’m engaged in Swedish Sea Rescue Society where I’m a volunteer helping those in need with towing and medical care if needed.
